Will Marco Rubio Run for President Again

AMES, Ia. — In his first trip to Iowa since he ran for president in 2016, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio said he'southward focused on helping the friends he fabricated in the beginning-in-the-nation caucus state while gearing up for his own reelection bid.

"Having done this one time, there'due south no purpose of being coy well-nigh it, I'm running for reelection in Florida to serve in the United States Senate," he told reporters afterward attending a political party fundraiser in Mason Metropolis. Senate Majority Leader Jack Whitver, R-Ankeny, led Rubio'due south Iowa entrada in 2022 and introduced him at the fundraiser Monday. And Rubio's Senate colleagues, Sens. Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley, besides were in attendance.
